How We Have Made A Way

Although WayMaker International was officially incorporated on 23rd June 2022, the vision behind it began more than 20 years earlier through the work of our founder, Andy Robinson, making a way where there is no way through trusted relationships, local partnerships and supporting vulnerable communities both internationally and at home.

STUPINI KIDS

ROMANIA

  • In 2006 Andy, our founder, visits a church project with extremely vulnerable children through what was then a brand new partner, CCB, in Romania

  • That same year, Andy takes a team of young people and funds a summer holiday camp for these vulnerable children.

  • In 2007, Andy started Stupini Kids Funding to resource a homework club for these vulnerable children, pioneered by an amazing lady, Lacra (part of CCB).

  • In 2007, Andy continued to take teams of young people and provided funding for Stupini Kids' annual summer camp.

  • In 2008, Andy increased visits to three times a year and became more involved in supporting church life and building lasting friendships in CCB, which continue to this day.

DaySpring Ministries

Zambia

  • in 2017 Andy visits Zambia for the first time after meeting Dr Joseph Mwila, an apostolic pioneer whose ministry, DaySpring, oversees dozens of churches across multiple African nations.

  • On that same visit, Andy, with his trusted friend Nick Tasquier, asked Joseph on that first visit, "What would change the landscape of this city for the kingdom?" His answer was a Christian School. So Andy and Nick began raising funds to build a pre-school in Kitwe, Zambia.

  • 2018 The Preschool Opens

  • 2019 The Primary School Opens

  • 2020 School Excels and becomes and governement examination centre

  • 2021 Aproached by the Zambian Department of Education to Build a Secondary School
