Our Six Core Priorities
-
Foundations First
We start with a mindset. Through biblical principles of humility, faithfulness, responsibility, and generosity, we equip farmers not just with technique but with a transformed outlook.
-
Conservation Agriculture
We teach farmers to protect and rebuild soil using simple but powerful methods: minimal tilling, permanent soil cover, crop rotation, and composting — proven to increase yield and resilience.
-
Backyard & Poultry Farming
Small-scale, low-cost, high-impact. From sack gardens to egg-laying hens, we train households and churches to start where they are — turning backyards into food-producing, income-generating spaces.
-
Train the Trainers
We empower local leaders to become trainers in their own communities, multiplying impact and building food security from the ground up.
-
Market & Livelihood Linkages
It’s not enough to grow food — we help farmers access markets, manage income, and build agri-business that lifts families out of poverty.
-
Prioritising the Vulnerable
We focus our resources on orphans, widows, and families in crisis. Every food project ensures that the most vulnerable have access to training, seed, and sustainable support.
Our Approach
Poultry Production
An initiative to broaden the farmers’ products through a chicken-rearing cooperative, with the aim of generating an additional flow of cash to supplement their subsistence farming
Foundations for Farming
This is Climate-smart Conservation Agriculture that enables farmers to sustain themselves on a tiny piece of land, heal the soil and nourish it for future generations.
It can be combined with our WaSH initiative, which provides farmers with fresh water too.
