Making a way in
ROMANIA
OUR PARTNERS: Centrul Creștin Brașov (CCB)
CCB Brașov is a trusted WayMaker partner with over 20 years of shared mission. Together, we’ve served vulnerable children, strengthened churches, and raised leaders. Their deep roots in community, Spirit-led vision, and long-standing friendship with Andy make them a vital part of the WayMaker story — past, present, and future
CCB Brașov – A Church with Heart, Vision, & Deep Roots
The relationship between WayMaker and CCB Brașov goes back over two decades. Long before WayMaker was ever launched, Andy Robinson began traveling to Romania, serving among the poor children in a neighbourhood of Brașov called Stupini.
There, alongside his dear friend Lacura Burne, Andy helped launch the Stupini Kids Club — a place where children could get help with homework, build confidence, and stay in school. It was small beginnings, but God was doing something big. With support raised through UK churches, relationships strengthened, teams were sent, and a shared vision grew.
Today, that seed has grown into WayMaker — and the friendship with CCB remains right at the heart of it.
Centrul Creștin Brașov (CCB) is a vibrant, Spirit-filled evangelical church based in Brașov, Romania. Part of the global Newfrontiers family, CCB is known for its passionate worship, biblical teaching, strong community culture, and a deep commitment to seeing lives transformed through the gospel.
But for us at WayMaker, they’re much more than a church. They’re family.
The current CCB leadership team — Dani Rusu, Harry Rusu, and Adrian Aldea — have walked this journey with Andy for over 20 years. Their partnership is built on more than projects. It’s built on trust, prayer, shared tears, and countless testimonies of God’s faithfulness.
Even now, Andy continues to lead teams to Brașov, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with these friends to serve the next generation.
